Description
FanCtrl is a utility that allows the user to automatically control the speed of the fans on their PC. The main purpose of this program is to optimally manage the temperature of the system’s internal components by precisely adjusting the fan rotation speed. Although FanCtrl seems easy to use in normal mode, this program is more recommended for advanced users . Improper use of this tool can lead to damage to the computer; this damage may result from excessive temperature increase of the components (Overheating) or functional interference with other processors or other monitoring software. Since this program was developed by an independent developer (Indie), it should be noted that it may not support all motherboard models on the market. The user should ensure the compatibility of their hardware with the software before using it.
Program features and functions
- Enable automatic fan control : This option automatically enables fan speed control based on the program’s temperature algorithms.
- Enable OSD (RTSS): This feature allows the user to view program monitoring information on the screen via RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server).
- Normal : Apply fan speed settings for everyday, balanced use.
- Silence : Optimizes fan speed for the lowest possible noise, usually accompanied by a slight increase in temperature.
- Performance : Sets the maximum fan speed for the best possible cooling when running heavy applications, which produces more noise.

- Software: A downloadable executable, with an optional .NET plugin system for third-party sensors and a required Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS) for the on-screen display
