Description

Bitwig Studio enhances the existing tools with 25 new drum machines. A good tool should have enough controls to create a variety of sounds. With this principle in mind, Bitwig Studio 5.3 allows users to access a wide range of sounds. In addition, this version has significant improvements to Workflow . Software updates are not limited to new tools, but also include improvements to the workflow. As a result, in addition to innovative tools, this version has made basic processes such as opening projects and presets or setting up audio input and output simpler and faster.

Program features and functions

  • This edition includes 25 modern percussion instruments added to the core drum instrument collection of version 1. Two of the three new instrument families are inspired by classic drum machines , but come with additional parameters and features.
  • v8 Family: This family is inspired by the 808 and includes ten devices: the v8 Kick , v8 Snare , and v8 Tom , along with some signature percussion instruments like maracas and cowbells . While the original hardware typically had just one tone control for each instrument, v8 devices have an average of five tone parameters, plus wide ranges to go beyond familiar sounds.
  • New tools and features: This update includes a new step sequencing note device and adds Master Recording to the Transport , allowing users to record an entire session or resample on the fly . These changes, along with improvements to the basic workflow, significantly improve the user experience.
