Ultra Adware Killer is a simple but powerful software to remove Adware and Malware from Windows. This software is able to detect and clean Adware and Malware for all users of a system. This feature saves time because you do not need to log in and repeat the scan operation for each user account separately.

Program features and functions

  • Ultra Adware Killer removes toolbars, add-ons, plug-ins, unwanted search providers, and hijacked home pages. In addition, it can clean potentially unwanted programs (PUPs), Trojans, Rootkits, Ransomware, and other forms of Malware.
  • To start the scan, the user must press the Start scan button . Once started, this button changes to Stop scan and the user can stop the scan at any time by pressing it again. The scanning process usually takes only a few seconds.
  • If the user only wants to scan the current user account, they must disable the Scan all users option before starting the scan . However, the SYSTEM account will always be scanned.
  • The progress bar below the Start scan button shows the scan status, and a text below this bar identifies the section being scanned.
  • While scanning, the user can review the items found. Double-clicking on each item will automatically take you to its location in the registry. Also, by right-clicking on the item line and selecting Open file location , the user can navigate to its file location in the file system (if any). This feature helps the user to get a better understanding of the item and decide whether to delete it or not.
  • The user can quickly select or deselect all items in the list: Right-clicking on the list opens a context menu that includes the options Check all and Check none . This context menu also has an option Open registry location, which has the same function as double-clicking on the item.
  • After the scan is complete, the user is shown a message indicating the number of items found. The scan log can also be accessed by pressing the Menu button and then selecting View scan log .
