style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"notranslate\">LinSig is a specialized software developed by JCT Consultancy that allows traffic engineers to model traffic signals and their impact on traffic capacity and vehicle queuing.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Modeling the effects of traffic signals will optimize the signal timing to reduce the delay or increase the capacity of the optimal intersections and junctions.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The program was developed by Brian Simonite in the 1980s and has been updated several times by the manufacturer.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The program does this by using traffic and optimizes the timing signal of intersections to its maximum capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"notranslate\">Features and Features of LinSig:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li><span class=\"notranslate\">Controller disk space.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Minimum Graphics resolution of 1280 \u00d7 1024 with Full (32 bit) color.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">19 \u201dMonitor.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">CD Drive (required for installation only).<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">A two-button mouse.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" processor.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Optimization of larger networks benefits from a faster processor<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">2Gb RAM.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Optimization of larger networks will benefit from 3-4Gb of RAM<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">25Mb of free hard disk space.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Graphics resolution of 1920 \u00d7 1200 with full (32 bit) color.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">24 \u2033 1920 \u00d7 1200 resolution monitor.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">An additional monitor (with compatible graphics card (s)) is very useful but not essential.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">For larger networks a second monitor becomes essential for maximum productivity.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">In our experience a second monitor (cost ~ \u00a3 180) is one of the most cost effective ways to improve LinSig productivity.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">(And many other applications as well !!)<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">CD Drive (required for installation only).<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">A three-button wheel mouse.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Not essential but extremely useful for zooming graphical views.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Please note that depending on the version of Windows you are using, the hardware requirements for Windows may exceed the above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align: left\"><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>Software requirements<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">LinSig 3 can be used on any of the following platforms:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows 10<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows 8<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows Vista<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows XP<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft .Net Version 2.0 or 3.5 is also required to be present.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Although LinSig 3 is no longer formally supported on earlier versions of Windows, it is envisaged that LinSig should run successfully on:<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">Microsoft Windows 2000 with Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or above.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"notranslate\">LinSig 3
