CATIA software (acronym for Computer Aided T<\/strong>hree-Dimensional I<\/strong>nteractive A<\/strong>pplication) is one of the most renowned and powerful software for design, engineering and analysis and manufacturing by computer (CAD \/ CAM \/ CAE), a product of the French company Dassault Syst\u00e8mes or It\u2019s DS.<\/span> With its modeling environments, surfaces, machining, finite element analysis, and designing and analyzing environments, Katia is a very comprehensive software design, analysis and production software.<\/span> The integration of Katya\u2019s environments allows all design steps to be completed in one go, resulting in cost savings and increased productivity.<\/span> The main competitors are SIEMENS PLM NX and PTC Creo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Install 2018 to 2020 versions<\/strong><\/p>\n

Steps 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 are for the 2020 version only and are written based on the installation in Windows 10; To install in Windows 7, see these steps in the Readme file.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. It is recommended that you disconnect your internet connection during installation.<\/li>\n
  2. Extract or mount DS.CATIA.P3.V5-6R20xx.iso and install the software by running the setup.exe file and do not run it after installation.<\/li>\n
  3. If necessary, install the latest update by extracting or mounting the update ISO file and running WIN64startspk.exe.<\/li>\n
  4. By running Services from the Start menu, find the Backbone service and from the right-click menu, Stop and then from the Properties -> startup type, select Disabled.<\/li>\n
  5. Copy and replace the contents of the Cracked Files folder or similar in the software installation path (default: C:Program FilesDassault SystemsB{30|29|28}win_b64codebin).<\/li>\n
  6. From the Start menu, run Device Manager, click on your computer name, and from the Action menu, select add legacy hardware. Then click Next -> install the hardware that I manually select from a list -> next -> next -> Have Disk, and then click Browse, select the virtnet60.inf file in the folder Crack -> VirtNet, and then Click OK -> Next -> Next and wait for the driver installation to complete<\/li>\n
  7. After installing the driver, from the Network adapters group, right-click on the VirtNet Network Adapter and click Disable Device.<\/li>\n
  8. From the Start menu, run Regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMControlSet001ControlClass{4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318 , click arrow on left of {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08} Find the VirtNetMacAddress key on the right by selecting each of the keys below {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08} (probably the last numeric key)<\/li>\n
  9. Double-click VirtNetMacAddress, delete the value inside it, and type 3085A994CF91. Then click ok and close this window. (Note: Only change the key with the same name and in the same direction. Wrong changes in the registry can cause problems)<\/li>\n
  10. From the Network adapters group, right-click on the VirtNet Network Adapter and click Enable Device.<\/li>\n
  11. Launch Catia, from the Tools -> Options menu and the Licensing tab, find the following in the Configurations section and uncheck them:
    DIC \u2013 CATIA \u2013 ACADEMIC DISCOVER 2
    ED2 \u2013 CATIA \u2013 EDUCATIONAL HEAT 2
    I3D \u2013 CATIA \u2013 3D INSIGHT 2<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To install Documentation version 2019, VC++ 2015 should not<\/strong> be installed on your system! If it is installed, then remove it and then install Documentation. After installation, you can reinstall VC++ 2015.<\/p>\n

    !<\/strong><\/span> The 32-bit version of the 2015 version provided by the developer is not installed by default on 32-bit windows and is only installed on 64-bit windows; its solution is to use the Setup.bat file instead of the setup.exe file.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Note: The fixed license of v2020 is set with a different MAC address. If you have the previous (expired) license on your system, replace the new license and follow steps 7, 8, 9 and 10 in the guide above. (Just change the MAC address from 10E7C61B9F4D to 3085A994CF91)<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The 2021 version was installed on Windows 10, 64-bit version on July 31, 2022, the 2020 version  on January 8, 2022 and has been successfully activated via fixed license. The 2017 version was activated on June 26, 2017 in a similar system.<\/p>\n

    Version V5-6R2021 SP7 was successfully installed and activated on Windows 10 64-bit edition on December 22, 1403, as shown in the image.<\/p>\n
