masonry.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The numerical formula of this software is based on the Discrete Element Method (DEM) for discontinuum modeling.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">UDEC is a two-dimensional version of it.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Discontinuous material is a set of discrete blocks.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The discontinuities act as boundary conditions between the blocks.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">Large displacements with discontinuity and rotation of blocks are permitted.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The common structure can be modeled directly from geological mapping.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">The software also includes the powerful Itasca built-in FISH programming language.<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"notranslate\">With FISH you can write scripts for users who want to add custom analytics capabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align:
