Mentor Graphics ModelSim exclusively supports VHDL and Verilog languages \u200b\u200band users can use standard ASIC and FPGA libraries in their applications when programming.<\/span> Mentor Graphics ModelSim is a Windows-based software that provides users with many features for programming, simulating, scheduling, debugging and analyzing FPGA chips.<\/span> It is one of the most powerful VHDL and Verilog application design and simulation software, which is widely used in the industry.<\/span> The VHDL language was first designed and used by the US Department of Defense to design and describe high-speed integrated circuits, and was made public in 1987 by the IEEE Association as a standard.<\/span><\/p>\n

With ModelSim, engineers and designers can simulate their applications prior to hardware testing and ensure their applications function.<\/span> At ModelSim you have all the windows you need, windows like Source to view the application source, Signals to see the signals in \/ out of the chip, Process to display running processes, Variables to view The amount of variables used.<\/span><\/p>\n
