HIGH-FIDELITY ENVIRONMENT DESIGN course. Design an immersive world using Blender, 3D-Coat, and Photoshop with this 3-hour workshop by Senior Artist Janice Meyer. This intermediate-to-advanced workshop demonstrates Janice\u2019s techniques for creating fantastical worlds, detailing the creation of a final keyframe from start to finish. This comprehensive tutorial delves into his creative and technical processes, so you\u2019ll understand the whys as well as the hows. Beginning by gathering and organizing references, Janice shares how she begins her project before sketching out shapes and environmental compositions. With the initial designs complete, Janice then jumps into 3D-Coat to demonstrate how she builds a KitBash set, using the software\u2019s powerful voxel sculpting engine to effectively create complex shapes and organic textures. Blender is the backbone of Jannis\u2019 environment design workflow, providing everything he needs to help him explore the world he\u2019s building. He shows how to set up a scene and place cameras to provide a base image for the final painting in Photoshop. In this workshop, everything from modeling, sculpting, shading, rendering, and photobashing to color gradation and additional tips and tricks of Jenis are discussed. As a bonus, he provides a brief insight into some quick character creation techniques in ZBrush and Blender. The final Blender scene and Jannis Photoshop file are included as project files in this workshop so you can see his working files up close.<\/span><\/p>\n
