The module is built on the basis of a two-way connection between RSTAB 8 and the add-on modules. However, you do not need an RSTAB 8 license to use COMPOSITE\u2011BEAM (stand-alone work is possible). When importing the structural model, you can define single-span and continuous beams with or without cantilevers. In addition, it is possible to specify different span lengths with definable boundary conditions (supports, releases) as well as any construction supports and moment releases during the construction phase. For a complete cross-section, you can create typical composite beam sections based on steel beams (I-sections) with solid concrete flanges, precast slabs, trapezoidal sheets or conical solid roofs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:135\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">It is also possible to grade sections using the length of the beams, optionally with concrete cover. Illustrated shapes facilitate the insertion of additional transverse reinforcement for trapezoidal sheets, profile stiffeners and angular or circular openings in the web. Autoweighting is automatically applied when entering loads. In addition, it is possible to consider constant and variable loads by specifying the age of the concrete at the beginning of the loading for creep and to freely define single, uniform and trapezoidal loads.
