SHAPE-THIN includes a connection option to RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8: SHAPE-THIN sections are also available in the library of the FEA software or the frame and truss analysis software; and vice versa, you can import and design internal forces from RFEM and RSTAB in SHAPE-THIN. SHAPE-THIN includes an extensive library of rolled and parameterized sections. They can be combined or supplemented with new elements. Cross-section modeling consisting of different materials is possible.

Graphical tools and functions allow the modeling of complex cross-sectional shapes in a manner typical of CAD programs. Graphical input allows the setting of point elements, fillet welds, arcs, parametric rectangular and circular sections, ellipses, elliptical arcs, parabolas, hyperbolas, splines and NURBS. Alternatively, a DXF file can be imported, which is used as a basis for further modeling. You can also use instructions for modeling.

Features and functions of the Dlubal SHAPE THIN
