It determines the cross-sectional properties of each thick-walled cross-section and calculates the stresses. In addition, you can perform reinforced concrete design according to Eurocode 2 and other standards. For SHAPE-MASSIVE, there is a connection option to RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8: SHAPE-MASSIVE cross-sections are also available in the library of the finite element analysis software or the frame analysis software; and vice versa, RFEM and RSTAB internal forces can be imported and designed in SHAPE-MASSIVE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-sourcepos=\"5:1-5:295\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit\">It is possible to freely model a cross-section using surfaces bounded by polygonal lines, including openings and point areas (rebars). Alternatively, you can use the DXF interface to import the geometry. An extensive library of materials facilitates the modeling of complex cross-sections. The definition of limiting diameters and priorities allows for the reduction of reinforcement. In addition, you can take into account the concrete cover and the associated prestresses. SHAPE-MASSIVE is a specialized tool for the analysis and design of thick-walled cross-sections.
