This program automatically creates all the maps. Just select the textures you want to create and load your desired image into xTex . It’s that simple!

Software features

  • Using xTex’s powerful tools , you can create seamless textures. The software allows you to choose between Stitching and Synthesis algorithms to achieve the best possible result in each use case.
  • xTex allows you to create completely seamless textures. You can use two specific algorithms for automatic tiling , Stitching and Synthesis . Both algorithms create seamless textures and are intuitive to use based on your input and the specific needs of the material. With Synthesis , you can even customize the output size and create large textures from small samples.
  • With xTex , you can fine-tune your normal maps and see the effect directly and instantly in 3D space.
  • No more tedious manual selection of transparent areas. Just define the transparent color and let xTex create an accurate and complete Alpha map based on the pixel color.
  • To capture transparent areas of a material, simply place a flat, solid-colored piece of cardboard or paper underneath it so that xTex can correctly detect these areas.
