It is not focused on Primavera; instead the course reviews all concepts and steps for creating and updating project baselines based on actual project data.
Topics covered include the difference between planning and Primavera; how to prepare a project schedule management plan; project documents and how to use them for planning; the project life cycle and the planner’s role; creating WBS, activity lists, and resource dictionaries; estimating durations, budgeting resources and relationships; checking project cash flow (including estimation of partial weight %); baseline validation including DCMA-14 rules; baseline submittal sets (histograms, narrative report and Gantt chart); checking site progress and implementing schedule updates; reviewing site progress, workhours and financial data; connecting all data with schedule updates; preparing required reports (progress, forecasting, productivity checking, materials consumption); Earned Value Report (EVM); data analysis for project updates; preparing recovery/revised schedules; and project closing reports (actual data, lessons learned and evaluation).
