Description
Itasca PFC is a discrete component multipurpose framework that analyzes particle behavior in two-dimensional and three-dimensional particle states. The software was developed by Itasca and is available in two versions, PFC2D and PFC3D. PFC enables particle-flow coding and supports Python and Fish scripting languages. You can precisely simulate and analyze particle behavior with the powerful computing engine of this software.
The composite materials of PFC models are made of solid and solid particles assembled to show their behavior. The PFC models represent the independent motions and interactions between the different particles that are contacted by an internal force. In PFC software, particle shapes can be represented as two-dimensional discs or 3D spheres, and the properties and parameters of particles in batch environments are analyzed.
