Description

Boot-US is a versatile boot manager . It allows users to easily use all their existing operating systems completely independently of each other. It can be easily installed directly under Windows . The Boot-US software package includes a versatile boot manager and its accompanying configuration program. The configuration program is available in two graphical (GUI) versions for all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows (including older versions such as 95/98/ME/NT to newer versions such as Vista, 7, 8 and 10) as well as a command line version for DOS and all 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. In addition, Boot-US allows users to view the details of all existing partitions . The program is compatible with existing standards and its main task is to enable the booting of all operating systems.

  • The configuration program runs directly under any 32-bit and 64-bit version of Windows (from Windows 95 to Windows 10).
  • The boot manager allows all operating systems to boot .
  • The boot manager allows booting from all local hard disks as well as floppy disks.
  • There is the ability to install the boot manager on the MBR (Master Boot Record), primary partition, or diskette.
  • There is support for hard drives of any size.
  • Allows booting from MBR disks up to 2 TB .
  • Partitions can be created, deleted, activated, and hidden .
  • Password support is provided to protect the boot manager and configuration program.
  • Supports explicit DOS booting, all versions of Windows (from 95/98/ME/NT to 10) from the second, third, etc. disk.
  • Supports Windows 2000/XP to 10 (from version 1.2.4 onwards).
  • Ability to hide primary and logical partitions separately (since version 1.7.0).
  • True partition hiding, especially for Windows 2000/XP to 10 (from version 1.5.0).
  • Ability to specify the order of boot disks (since version 1.6.0).
  • Checking the integrity of partitions (since version 1.6.1).
  • The command-line and graphical versions now offer the same functionality (as of version 1.7.0).
  • Partitions can be created, deleted, and formatted in FAT/FAT32 format (since version 2.1.0).
