Wordaizer is a word cloud maker , similar to Wordle but with a different approach. It gives users complete freedom to customize their word cloud to any size, color, font, and shape they want. The program is capable of producing very large word clouds , up to twice the size of an A0 sheet of paper. Users can save, print, or view the final result on screen. It even allows you to animate the cloud .
Wordaizer is a standalone application that runs on Windows or a Windows environment on OS -X (mac) . After installation, users can create a word cloud immediately . During the initial period of use, the application is available without restrictions and with all features. After this period, some professional features will be limited or locked.
Program features and functions
- Wordaizer creates word clouds in a specific shape. Users can use the program’s default shapes or create their own shapes, called “masks .” Not only can words be placed horizontally or vertically, but they can also be placed at any angle, or even curved and complex. The program allows for any word density to be adjusted, allowing users to create completely unique word clouds .
- The final result from Wordaizer is an image (bitmap) that can be saved to the hard drive and printed. The paper size is adjustable and users can save images up to 2x A0 size (with 150 dpi print quality ). This file can be saved, printed, post-processed, copied, emailed and published. Users have complete control over the final result.
- You can save the word cloud in vector format : as a file with the ’emf’ (windows enhanced metafile) format . This feature is quite unique and has not been seen in any other program so far. The ’emf’ file can be made infinitely large, so that it can even be used as wallpaper.
