PreSonus Studio One is a digital audio workstation (DAW) that provides everything you need to record, produce, mix, master, and perform music in one comprehensive platform. It’s designed to make music creation quick and easy with Smart Templates , an intuitive drag-and-drop workflow , a customizable interface, and powerful, integrated tools. Studio One is available for macOS and Windows , with a public beta for Linux . It’s known for its user-friendly, single-window interface that makes it easy to do everything from adding effects to rearranging parts of a song.

- Project Page: A mastering suite for finalizing and distributing one or more songs.
- Show Page: A user interface for live performance, for managing backing tracks , virtual instruments , and effects .
- Chord Track and Harmonic Editing: Allows for easy experimentation with different chord sequences and automatic transposition of parts.
- Score View: A score editor with features for notation and creating lead sheets .
- Integrated Melodyne: The Professional version has tight integration for pitch and timing correction, eliminating the need to export audio files.
- Stem Separation: Divides a mixed audio track into separate stems such as drums , bass , and vocals, which is very useful for remixing and sound design .
- Tempo Detection: Advanced tools for automatically detecting the tempo of audio files, including free-tempo recordings .
- Splice Integration: This software is the first DAW to offer full, AI- based integration with the Splice library.
