Native Instruments Maschine is a revolutionary groove creation system that provides creative tools, tactical beat-making organization, and a well-known sound library (Kontakt 5) as well as the ability to accept any other VST and VSTi library. Along with its own hardware, it combines the power and flexibility of software with the immediate availability and tangible feel of hardware.
The new version of the software has been completely redesigned, with areas such as the Drum Synths and the mixer undergoing major changes. The new MASCHINE 2 sound engine allows users to add an unlimited number of groups and insert effects to MASCHINE’s powerful feature set. Support for multi-core processors ensures that the computer handles all these operations in parallel and with extremely efficient processing – even when the software is used as a VST or AU plug-in. In addition, the new sound engine now supports sidechaining for classic ducking effects and more. With a pattern-based sequencer, a high-performance sampler, an amazing collection of professional instruments and studio effects, sampled drum synthesizers, and the Kontakt 5 library, MASCHINE 2 is a complete system for fast and professional rhythm/groove creation.

- The Mixer window in MASCHINE 2 allows users to perfect their tracks. Volume and panning are made with the utmost ease. Group and individual track levels are clearly displayed in meters, complete with Peak Level Indicators. Level adjustments can be made for each group of sounds. There are also two Aux Sends per channel, allowing the user to freely route sounds to any point in their project. MASCHINE’s new user interface brings all this and more; advanced groove production has never been easier.
