The Sony Catalyst Production Suite provides the backbone for video production by integrating powerful media preparation tools with fast, focused video editing. The suite is divided into two main parts: Catalyst Prepare and Catalyst Edit . Catalyst Prepare smooths the transition from camera to post-production by providing powerful organization tools, precise primary color correction and monitoring capabilities, extensive metadata support, and more. Catalyst Edit , on the other hand, provides a simple, focused video editing environment that makes the cutting and editing process fast and smooth.
Supporting 4K, Sony RAW and HD formats, it gives users the ability to take full advantage of their camera’s high dynamic range (HDR) and wide color gamut, as well as the stunning clarity of 4K, from start to finish. The Catalyst workflow is built on the strong support of the software family, enabling users to transform their mental vision into an experience that will impress viewers.
