Description
Advanced System Security Design Specialization. This course is designed to provide advanced skills in designing and analyzing secure cyber systems using the latest techniques and tools. Designed for individuals with a basic knowledge of programming and cybersecurity, this course teaches participants how to design, analyze, and implement critical systems. Course topics include secure software techniques for cloud computing, the TOR network, web-based cryptography, and location-based and environment-based access control. This specialization prepares learners to implement new security features and protect data privacy and provides them with the skills necessary to perform various tasks, including secure system design, vulnerability analysis, security provisioning, operations and maintenance, monitoring and governance, protection and defense, threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and research. The course includes practical projects such as setting up a high-availability load-distribution cluster on AWS to demonstrate the ability to create secure cloud computing systems, implementing the TOR anonymous browser project and hidden server to protect privacy, and creating a secure geo-encryption service using advanced access controls and a location API.
What you will learn
